Cleaning a fabric chair is easy and can be done fast. If it’s an expensive chair, heirloom or made of some extremely rare and special material, we recommend that you consult a professional before you start cleaning it.
- Begin by vacuuming the chair all over, removing dust, lint and small particles that might have gotten stuck in the fibers of the fabric.
Use a brush extension for your vacuum cleaner and follow up with the crevice tool in order to get into the hard to reach corners.
2. Wipe down the chair using a soft sponge and warm soapy water (can be made by mixing dish detergent and warm water).
3. Afterwards, wipe it once more using vinegar on a soft sponge or cloth.
4. Let the chair dry in a well ventilated area, preferably somewhere with fresh air.
The smell of vinegar will go away once the chair is completely dry.
